Yep

All those you listed with Open Current - I had straight thru continuity.  So thought they were the source of the short.  But capacitance tested a couple and got like 5uf

So I am still going round and round.  Has been a bitch.

Yeah there a pain, if you want any other points metering out let me know and i'll have a look on me deadish falcon. Cant think of much else to sugest, but aslong as your getting more than pretty much dead short i'd be tempted to put back on the stuff you know is good and see what happens.
