If you remove the jag wiring then you have to flash the nand back to stock, or put jag worrying back to boot.

I couldn't tell you. My jtag died on me shortly after I got it because it was a xenon rrod. I would give it a try with the jtag wiring installed or use jrunner or another 360 nand tool to dump create and flash a stock nand to test. But I bet that guy will want his jtag intact when returned.

The way jtagging works with those systems it had to be set back to aud clamp cause it has something to do with the smc. If by chance it still is acting crazy your probably looking at the reball. But it won't boot unless you change the jtag image if you wanna try that before removing wires.

make sure the wires are trimmed down so they dont short each other out..

I know your on point with wiring.. so that point might be moot..

i say.. get it to stock first.. make sure the system boots.. then work from there..

i usually do the aud clamp boxxdr method.. with transistors. or use the TX e79 Qsbs..

E79 is usually Bad Blocks, Bad Flash or Bad Soldering.

can you press eject and boot to XELL?

Good point, also the go back to stock. Stock will give you better trouble codes because some are programmed out. If you can boot xell see if it will run anything made with libxenon and see if it actually works. If it freezes you could have CPU issues. Also, you said the job was done bad before, definitely check for shorts around the aud clamp wiring. Never know could have some stay solder.

Will, you MUST do the Transistor style aud_clamp install for consoles that give E79..

I totally will re-install the transistor Aud_clamp.

It's just that no one was catching that I had No Video at all.  People asking about booting to Xell - But I couldn't there was no video output.

Reballed the Hana  - now I have video.  The Aud_clamp is next.  Might have to run to Radio Shack.  Don't have any 10K ohm axial resistors on hand

Jrunner can do a full convert to Retail right ?  Just create Image with Nand dump and Write back ?

The one thing to note  ,,,, I never had a stock retail Dump.  It came to me already jtagged.

Going to work the Aud Clamp re-install first.  See where it puts me.  Then I might have to fiddle fart with a variety of things.

Hopefully I can just get a clean procedure the first time.
