Damaged Traces From Bad Rgh Fixable?
« on: April 04, 2013, 05:34:00 AM »

Ive recieved a trinity motherboard in from a guy and he has damaged two places on the motherboard from a bad RGH install.

console boots to red dot obviously.

First he has lifted the CPU_RST point FT4R2. tracing to the next point C5R11 is intact.

then he has attempted to bridge C5R11 to R4D4 on the topside as per the fix on the forum, and has removed the resistor R4D4 completely. the pads on the motherboard for R4D4 are still intact though.

I have bridged the points of R4D4 and bridged it to C5R11 but the red dot stays.

Is there a way to fix this or is this motherboard basically scrap?

There is an alt point under the CPU I used once. You can solder from r4d4 to point under CPU or gpu. Ill tell you exact when I get home. You may need to replace the r4d4 resistor too though.
