You are using different equipment from me.

But R707 - sounds like the wrong probe spot.

People using TX gear probe spot MPX01

I could be wrong about your method - But TX gear has never failed me

You could just swap the PCB out and not have to worry about all that

Yeah I thought about doing that, only problem being the drive comes with 1 year warranty so don't want to break the seal.

I've extracted a key from one of these drives before using the same tools I have now, but not sure if since the ms dash update updated the drive's fw, so just need to know if this method/tools still works.

They should work. I used an older device and a probe I made myself and it all worked fine. Just follow the jungleflasher tutorial and you should be fine. I think the tutorial also shows how to make the probe but I am not sure.
