Heat guns are usually a bad idea. They are for stripping paint not chip work.
Did you apply any Kapton or foil tape to your chip mounts when using the heat gun.? The chips have to be protected. They are delicate. Its the ball grid under the chip that you want repaired.
Answer to your question: ... your Gpu chip needs to either be properly reflowed, reballed or replaced.
There are people here at this site that provide that service.
Please stop using the hardware heatgun
Thanks for the response! yea the board is warped so i think a reflow will fix that and then ill see what error code it gives me then. then ill fix that code too. then i can play some halo reach!

Another thing to look for is bulging/blown capacitors. They are usually pretty easy to spot and more likely to be damaged than a chip. You should take some pictures of each side of the board and post them.
ok i guess ill take some pictures i gotta take it apart again so wont be for a little bit until i get some pics.
