E02 Rrod On Zephyr (with A Twist)

Yes ... you need a 203 watt brick for a Zephyr.
Try another 203 watt brick first.  Maybe a friend has one on hand

Another cause to the 0002 is malfunctioning Mosfets.  Either shorted or not switching properly.  If that's the case they will have to be replaced ... the mosfets

I have also found that people bridging transistors for a 12 volt fan mod has also caused a 0002

Also figured I should add a thought before the post gets too old...

I think it's worth mentioning that a zephyr that old will get the traditional RROD quite soon (error 0102 or 0020). It's probably just a coincidence that the 360 failed with a mismatched PSU. After all, how could a 360 freeze like a traditional RROD would with a failed mosfet or failing PSU?

Anyways, I'm curious to know if a 203 watt PSU fixed his boot up issue.

Three RROD with a secondary error code of 0002 - has nothing to do with the Gpu or onscreen graphics freezing.
It is a power management / delivery problem.  Console with this problem does not boot and does not run fans.

Exactly my point. How could an error 0002 occur from the freezing and failed boot attempts he's having? I think the actual cause of the freezing and failed boots was because of one of the more common RROD errors (0102 or 0020), which for some reason didn't show itself when the 360 failed, unless maybe he interpreted a 0020 as a 0002 - not too unlikely. I've had 360's with very unresponsive eject buttons come to me, and make error reading particularly frustrating :/

Yep - I see.

Skimmed over too much.  Didn't catch the freezing part.  It's probably 0020

my fault
