sounds like a jacked up usb port is shorting out.  shine a light in them and fix the one that doesn't look like the rest of them.

I have already seen it and normally I do not have bad contact or a course circuit in the USB

Hi,
everyone will throw at you the "check for shorts" statement, you might not find them... well i didn't.
I have the same problem as you and no solution, somewhere (on standby) one of the 3.3V rails is shorted.

This is the thread with my problem and with no help:
http://forums.xbox-e...php?f=39&t=5833

And this is something you definitely must look at:
http://xbox-experts....-xbox-360-slim/

First, with the console on 'stand by' check the 'Realiability Header' this is a good start to check for shorts.

Report that.

No... i didn't

Something like the ones on this thread:
http://forums.xbox-e...php?f=39&t=5247

i check both voltages and they look fine, just like in the picture: http://imageshack.us...regulators.jpg/

But in fact i did bought 4 of them to have them replaced, but it's on hold ATM.

Are you talking about the MOSFET  ones in the picture or any other else?

I'm (almost) sure that i have tested both of those MOSFET pointed by the thread you referenced on a good trinity board on standby and each one of them yield 0 Volts in any pin. I did not unsoldered them, my mistake, i'll have to try that.

I really don't know how to explain how it failed.
It had a Matrix 1 glitcher installed.
I had played before many hours on it, this was one more session, didn't move the console anywhere.
Connected one controller at front and the hard drive on the back (rightmost USB port), played for 30 min. a xbox live game, turned off the console, did notice that the fan spin a lot faster than usual on turning off the console. Few days later tried to start it and never started up again. Only makes one beep and nothing more.

Strange right... this is the second one.

Hi there,
as I told you, don't even have the components to replace, today i took the reference from them, and I'm going to place the order. I will only be able to test with new components in 3 or 4 weeks.
