Odd Very Odd Issue
« on: November 21, 2012, 08:29:00 PM »

Got a few consoles, RROD when plugged in. Haven't messed with since. Hook them up tonight to get secondary error codes. One of the consoles shows an error code of 0000, then out of the blue just turns on....

On another note, soldering nand x to a jasper and now the jasper console don't wanna boot. Not idea why....can't figure it out. pissed.

I've found 0000 to be Gpu issues

One for reflow or reball.  Sometimes its just not 0000 .... but really like infinite 0000's

On the Jasper hooked up with a Nandx ... double check your connections.  Don't know if you are using single wires, header pins or TX QSB's

Just recheck your sites.  Maybe there's one spot not perfect

What stage of the glitch hack are you in ?  I know during the read ... you're not supposed to boot up.

if you have a one like this : http://www.youtube.c...player_embedded

 > look for missing components or missing parts i think capacitors are the cause of this kind of problem; unfortunately i get rid of this motherboard, because i got bored of this mobo biggrin.gif  there was too much missing parts :/ i sold this mobo for pieces

Jasper couldn't even dump the nand. I might have trashed something on the garbage qsb install. That's when it all started. Band wouldn't dump. So I removed the qsb went to wire like I normally do. No luck. Decide to remove nand x to check power on console now it won't even boot. Checked for solder splashes etc. I'm lost. Jasper powered fine before qsb install

Sometimes, durning/after the soldering, the points remain damaged even if they are not completely lifted. I suggest you to check this with a magnifying glass and multimeter. smile.gif

Better inspection of it, looks like a trace is lifted. To hell with QSB installs I'll never do that garbage again. Wired the cr3lite to a falcon with no issues, just wanted to try the QSB. Anyhow I'll get a photo upload later on, to me looks like the trace is lost. Not sure how to go about fixing a trace...

w00t that did it wink.gif Now to RGH this damn thing again.

WTH is going on with this box, I thought based off what the plug on the console looks like. Looks just like every Jasper, something looked out of place about the box, couldn't place it and noticed the heatsinks we're different. Doesn't have the tail pipe. Anyhow, I'll have to dump the nand and see what it says.

Hmmm Jasper 16mb nand, xclamps don't look like they have been tampered with, so it makes no since to me.
