That softcock indirectly plays a part in every exploit of the kernel we've seen to date.
You can not criticise a hacker for telling them of their flaws.
Some people reverse engineer because they can, not for any specific gain other than a personal motive, for the challenge.
Whereas some do it for gain, financial and egoistical.

Yup ... And he could also have decided to ONLY share it with M$ , but he didn't , he shared it with everyone... And everyone saw what happened to failoverflow and geohot for cracking the PS3 right? It was uncharted territory, he didn't know MS wasn't going to sue his pants off , he actually excepted that they might.
We are of course talking about tmbinc , if he hadn't left the scene it actually would have advanced a lot more than it did after he left .... There was a dry spell when he left, until people started putting out XDK software , which is why he left ...
But bottomline he was there for a lot more than just finding and releasing the exploits, he was also active on the XBH forums sharing and absorbing information .... He always wanted to remain legal , and with libxenon only everything was fine ... I'm not going to rant a bunch , but I don't like people talking sh*t about tmbinc , without him there would be no exploits , he did more than find the HV exploit , he also got the 1bl , without which none of this would have been possible, and he built the libxenon toolchain.

Yes, and I suppose for that I indirectly thank him but all of this is a side-effect from what his mission was.......probably personal gain and also, I suppose I cannot blame him (if I was him)

My last word here: Can anyone confirm that just the existing single nand will be all that is required (aside from glitch chips for rgh's)?
They have said plenty of times it will not be locked to the Demon , what more do you want , they themselves have said that. It's a hacked kernel how would you expect them to lock it their chip? It wouldn't then be able to run on the console anyway. The only "lock" on the Cygnos was the SMC , you can change that , and then it runs on the console using the onboard SMC for Jtag writes, RGH has nothing to with Jtag , only the patches that make it reboot indefinitely , which are just patches to the SMC file , the Cygnos uses an onboard controller to do Jtag writing for the Jtag hack , it's not really a lock....
The only reasons you would want a Demon are A. you want to be able to use LIVE still unhacked or B. You develop and want to have 2 nands for different hacked builds. C. Your Xbox has a blown SPI port and you can't use a NandX or other USB flasher to flash it anymore. None of that would cause them to lock it , and as I have said , they have already said no Fusion will not be locked the the Demon , it's just a replacement ala freeBOOT/Xebuild etc .....
