This would have to be super-low price to make it worthwhile, for beginners it makes better sense and economy to get a pro to install one of the single-purpose chips for RGH as the Nand only needs reading/writing once (best done by a pro and as cheap also) and as for JTAG, why anyone would pay the extra is beyond me

Thats if there's any left... As for pros/advanced: It might pay off if you plan to play around with ur kernel/Nand a lot and don't want to install a socket... oh wait u still have the same issue there also... don't you? If you have sn SPI then you just add a socket or header so u can use over and over, either way you have to open the case or install an external socket so... why do we need on-board SPI ?? I really dont see the point,to my mind less is better keep it lean and mean. Still I guess it's good to have choices and if they are onto the whole xtal/corona thing then good on them, that will be the only factor (and perhaps price) that might induce me to buy :-)

Wouldn't RGH'ing a Xenon be like trying to put nice rims on your uncle's old 1972 Nova. Sure it looks nice but it won't last long enough to be enjoyed...
Actually a Xenon
is like a Corolla: It might have a a couple of design flaws, but overcome them and it will kick-on forever (even if there are more efficient models around) It's funny: When I'm playing FPS on live and some1 complains about their box getting choppy every time some1 drops a smoke grenade I say : 'Are you using a Slim?' and they say :'Yes how did you know?' ;-)
They should replace that silly 'are u buying a kinect poll' with 'Which is the best model 360?' Xenon, Falcon, Jasper, Trinity or Corona?' I'm inclined to say Falcon , maybe Jasper... hmmm there are pro's and cons of each, using less power with smaller cores doesn't always = better as the freq gest diminished more easily, makes me wonder why M$ put in that silly choke on the Slims's southbridge ..
