First Person Shooter Master Controller By Gamester
« on: August 09, 2004, 01:45:00 PM »

I'm just curious if anyone has used this controller because I'm thinking about getting one. I like the idea of putting 4 more of your fingers to good use. Plus you don't have to take your thumb off the analogue stick.  Yea it looks like it was painted with diarrhea, but who cares?  I think the only color it comes in is poop.

It's a good idea in theory but the controller's no good.  It's got the same problem that most third party controllers have.  Lousy analog sticks, unresponsive buttons.

Luckily my friend was dumb enough to buy it so I didn't have to waste any money.  ;)

i got one on ebay for $7 shipped... not bad for the price...  ;)

takes a LONG while to get used to... but if you took the time, i could see how you could possibly be a tiny bit 'better' than other players...

the only real advantage is that you can look around no matter what you are doing...

I was hesitant in buying one for $30, but for $7 I might give it a try.

So does your friend also hate the controller?

A friend bought one and a bunch of us tried it at a halo lan party, we all hated it. I really didn't like how cheap the analog sticks felt.

My friend bought one and he seems to love it. I cant stand the analog sticks but I can really see a difference in his halo playing. It's much easier to melee someone while you still have your thumb on the aiming stick. With normal xbox controllers you just have to run at the person and hope they dont move before you press B
