OK, I've been putting off getting one of the xk3ys until I heard more reviews. For some reason, info is hard to come by on this device.

The replies in this thread seem to indicate that all is well with the newest dash.

Here is my question:

Are there any certain games or types of games that the xK3y cannot handle? I use a wode for the wii and it is great, no issues whatsoever.......I just want to make sure the xk3y doesn't have issues that I'm not aware of.

By the way, I'm not interested in Live info, as the xk3y wont be connected to live at all.......I have a second 360 for that purpose.

Appreciate any info you can give......have a good day!!

I got my help from member birchi. Below is the link birchi provided. Very helpful. Although the link will send you to firmware you can navigate to other info.

rsmc, grab the update from here if you can't register your xKey: xK3y Unofficial Forum

I didn't even realise you had to register and download updates through xKey themselves, I'd found the unofficial forum days before my xKey arrived and had already downloaded the update from there.  They also have a very useful guide on using a USB image tool to prepare your MicroSD card with 1.06, that's the method I used and it worked first time.  Details on that one here.

Get a pro to do the hack for you.
CoolRunner+service is $45 - $50 compared to xkey/wasabi at $110 - 120
