I mean no offense - just asking

Do you know how to work on electronics ?  Do you have the tools to do such ?

Are you willing to learn ?  Sometimes its not an easy journey

And if you are still under Warranty, have Microsoft work on it.

Everything I work on is way past warranty

Oh ya - check to see if you have any damaged USB ports

Bent pins.  There are 4 on one side.  Any out of their uniform position will cause a ground.  With that the 360 will act completely dead.  There should be three USB ports

Straighten out the pins.  Children accidentally damage these ports.  Not uncommon.

And check the other ports also for damaged pins and prongs.
