Had A 0011 - Now Dashboard Won't Start - Help
« on: December 09, 2011, 07:52:00 AM »

After doing a reflow on the GPU and CPU...

I did hold the sync down for power up.  Thought maybe there could be a bad update holding the Dashboard up.

Right after the 360 label screen, I get a screen stating System Update Failed.  Re-attach Hard Drive.  Don't currently have the customers HDD.  Used one of my own HDD.  This didn't get the system past this particular error screen.

Cycled the power several times.  The 360 won't let go of the System Update Failed screen

What do I need to do ?

Should I lift a Mosfet or Regulator up?  Get whatever residue charge out of the system.  Help it forget this error?  Power drain a Cap

What about lifting the NAND & putting it back in place?  Am I grasping at straws ?

Wow - Sorry about that hiccup in the last message posting
