Are you 100% sure that you plugged the power cable back in the correct way so that it's not upside down now?

Did you replace the power and sata cables and try again? maybe they are faulty.

Hi. No worries - I found the dummy.bin file so I updated the firmware on the spare drive.
I'm using that now and it works great.
