No thanks TX. I'll just stick to my spi nand flasher (never liked Nand-x much, I bought it like a year ago and havent used it once, waste of $) and i'll go with any other glitch chip. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yeah that too. I have not gotten to play with any JTAGs. It would be nice to have a current guide on what people use most. How to run games from external HDD. What files need to be where and how to put them there. How to run DLC, homebrew (emu), etc. I'm under the impression that FTP is still used for files. I'm familiar with that from xbox1 days. Hopefully it's not much different than how WII loads games. It didn't take long to pick up on the terminology and standards for it.

I guess it's hard to consolidate info like that when there is different types of hardware mixed with the many methods people use and customizations to fit 'their' needs but may not fit yours.

Im the same as you mate.
I havent played, read or researched anything about jtags so its all pretty new to me too.
I have only flashed drives on the 360.
I installed a modchip in my original xbox and have been waiting for something like this to come along!

So you purchased a NAND-X, you dont like it much but you haven't used it either  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)  What's the reason for "going with any other glitch chip" ? You don't like buying from the team that clearly produce some of the best tools in the scene?

To be fair you dont need a nand-x to use the coolrunner, you just need to program the coolrunner somehow, so make your own cables and use nandpro or something. TX however understandably are saying hey we have these tools that make it easier for you why not use them.

Infact if you check the following post http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75002 they have the schematics to build your own coolrunner ltp jtag cable.

You state you have a USB SPI programmer, id ask why did you by a nand-x then as you already have the kit do read and write nands via USB. For myself I didnt have a USB SPI device so I bought the Nand-x, and here is another use for it so im happy because I get more use out of the hardware I bought.

It simply enables homebrew on MOST consoles, or it makes them Jtagable if thats what you want to call it.

Name the tools if you may....
Anyway the reason i dont buy team x products is becuase it seems to me that they sell you a product but then you also need to purchase a another product to be used with the first product you bought. Plus most of the stuff they sell is over priced. But what I really dont like from this team X is that they act like their products have nothing to do with piracy when they are clearly being used for that. Also they act like assholes on their forums. So they want our $ but then turn around and act like assholes? no thanks

Nand X = overpriced
x360 usb pro = better off with the 360 lizard
sputnik360 = one time use....nice  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Xecuter 360 Case Unlock Kit = is about the only thing I use from team x

using FC tells me these are not optimized any more than the 1.1 glitch hack jeds. they are the same files that have been available since 1.1 and falcon support. except the opus jed, that one is new and i dont have the "original" to compare it to, though i would have to assume it is the same as the publicly released one.

This and I forsee TX lining the pockets of scene devs to have their programs only be compatible with TX products.

Think it would be PRG/NOR for Program or Normal
