Damn I ordered from vgc, acidmods and one other place.   Man this sucks.  What reseller do you guys consider the best in the US.   VGC said I was on the first preorder but they keep delaying a week everytime I friggin check.   Don't know if i'll ever use them again.

Mine came 2 days ago from modtraders. Not used it yet as I'm waiting on the nand-x update cables to be released. I could build my own but is rather have the proper ones so on the shelf it sits till they come out.

Can anyone get me an alternate link for "coolrunner_xsvf_jed.rar" as registrations on xecuter forums are closed now.

Coolrunner and NAND X are all I would need to do the RGH? As far as hardware. Can it be done on a banned box with flashed dvd or does it have to get flashed back to stock first? I want to do this soon, but things keep changing and updating. Need something current and thorough.

From what i understand as long as your nand-x is on the latest version (3.0?) and you can connect your coolrunner to your nand-x to program it then that is all you need hardware wise - the quick solder boards are recommended though.

It can be done on a banned box.

You dont need to flash back to stock firmware.

Im waiting for a big guide or thread that will show me what i can do after it has been installed. I dont have any cables so i think i would need:

Nand-x
Coolrunner
QSB's
Nand-x to coolrunner cable (unless this comes with the coolrunner?)

Then i want to stick a 1TB drive into my phat HDD case and get a dashboard on and install my games and emulators.

Just use coolshrimps Jtag tool, everything is automatic so no need to download anything else.

Yeah that too. I have not gotten to play with any JTAGs. It would be nice to have a current guide on what people use most. How to run games from external HDD. What files need to be where and how to put them there. How to run DLC, homebrew (emu), etc. I'm under the impression that FTP is still used for files. I'm familiar with that from xbox1 days. Hopefully it's not much different than how WII loads games. It didn't take long to pick up on the terminology and standards for it.

I guess it's hard to consolidate info like that when there is different types of hardware mixed with the many methods people use and customizations to fit 'their' needs but may not fit yours.
