Ok I follow all this new stuff pretty closely but don't understand why this video is about the glitch hack and new lt+2.0.  What I mean is doesn't the lt+2.0 work like all the previous firmwares and can be done to stock xboxs?  I know the glitch hack is for unsigned code and didn't see any.  For example we don't use te glitch hack for lt+1.91.

Two separate things, one can exist without the other you don't need both. You would actually choose one or the other.

Yeah, that is great the success rates are really quick, but did no one honestly think the music was awesome?

Ha. That was the first thing I noticed and I knew part of the music was familiar. About 5 or 6 minutes through the music you hear is from the Gears of War 2 Soundtrack.

Re the coolrunner demo it's great to see they were able to tweak the hardware to get it to be more reliable.

Unlikely that the .jed file has been modified so they must have found some sweet spots/additions to the hardware to get these results.  Now if only we could find out what these were and implement the same changes to our C-mods we'll be fine.

Sorry, but I think this vid could be a fake.. Xenon with BenQ?? (Spoofed?) What about showing us there's no ODDEmu attached, and that the drive is actually plugged in. Hmmm ..
I hope it's real..

Can't seem to get on TX's website.. What's up with that? (or is it just me :-) Perhaps their getting sued for the use of the name 'CoolRunner'

I don't know why you're convinced it's a Xenon. It looks more like a Falcon or Opus to me. Notice the height of the AV ports? It's close to the height of the power plug, which was only on consoles post-Xenon. At 4:03 you can also see the inductors are dark green with red or orange wire and horizontal, which is indicative of the newer motherboards.

Even if it actually is a Xenon, it could have been repaired and sent back with a new drive. I got a Xenon/Sammy repaired and it came back with a Lite-On.

I counted about 11 seconds on one of those boots... just saying. Look at the youtube video clock.

Honestly as long as they can keep the boot times consistently under 20 seconds I'd be really happy with it (granted the quicker the better). It's not like we have to keep powering the console on every few minutes. My Falcon jtag is getting lonely, he's waiting for his brother with a RGH to start playing with him.  smile.gif

BTW thanks to all those responsible for the RGH development & all your hard work!

Ditto for my falcon.

danthaman673, I'm not sure why Xecuter would tarnish their own well established reputation by posting fake information and personally, I would trust Xecuter's word over the word of an ODDemu manufacturer any day.

I haven't followed the JTAG scene since I don't own one.
To use this hack, in addition to this chip, what else do I need?
I assume a JTAG cable? Is it something like this?
http://mrmodchips.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=44_58&products_id=804

Are there any step by step guide on how to use/install this chip?
Thanks.
