Interesting.

so many options to chose from. LT+ Max, Homebrew (Reset glitch), backup via usb etc...

I'll just wait till it all unfolds. i personally prefer homebrew

Not sure but it looks to me as some Table from 80's smile.gif Personally dont see this a future for this product. Even that video is crap. My opinion.

P.S > personally Wasabi360 is the best but X360key looks pretty good as well

Actually, I reckon this is a reasonable product, just poorly promoted. From what I can discern, the product is made up of modules, so you have ur core module, and then you choose how to implement it eg; You install the main module (module 1?) and then you can select games using an Iphone/Andriod app via WiFi (with the module on it's own)  Then later you can add the touchscreen selector module,(Module 2 ?) which I understand might support key xtraction/ virtual FW upgrading etc.. It's always good to have competition, I just hope they have done their homework on this one .... I guess we will see, I wouldn't go writing these guys off that easily.

Agreed the screen on the prototype looks a little large, but an nice 7" or 10"  TFT  would show covers nicely :-)

I hope their FW works better than their site's web-page..(ATM) That sort of thing can lead someone to question their legitimacy. I guess we will see, I personally would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried their product.

I agree.  Knowing the capabilities of JTAG's and thus the future of the RGH once it has matured I see it coming out the winner in the long run, with C4eva firmware 2nd for people who want Live compatibility - anyone agree/disagree?  tongue.gif

I agree and disagree since this will be a great solution for XBoX Live. It's great if you like the fast speed loading from hardrive combined with XBoX Live. That beats iXtreme LT or even the latest iXtreme that will be released. JTAG is easy for ms to see on live, sure you can change the kevault however how many donor keyvaults can you get before they all are banned. Glitch hack works similar to JTAG so no Live there either.

Best solution would be a slim 360 that is glitched with Freestyle for offline gaming. And Wasabi/Boxzii in a slim for online play. What I really am waiting for is Wasabi or Boxzii with USB3 instead of SATA since it's backwards compatible with USB2. A shame nobody thought of that. I gladly would pay for the extra cost for the USB3 controller. Rather USB3 then a touchscreen. and the idea of using an iPhone as touchscreen is great, I am sure apple would put it in their apstore just to show ms the finger. If not it's still possible with jailbreak and cydia. Even a USB2 Blutooth dongel would work with iphone if wifi is to expensiv, wasabi/Boxzii would only need to support a few cheap Blutooth dongels and then make a application for the iphone. Dont really understand how it could work with the 360 built in wifi, then you could use the tv screen and a controller just like wasabi. It's a neat solution however it feels a little cheap. It's nice to see the game covers on a screen and using the iphone for that would be a great solution however a built in wifi interface could be expensiv, even more so then a screen. The economical solution would be Blutooth or even USB so you could charge your iphone while you play your games. But why aren't anyone thinking of USB3? you get the best of boath worlds since Wasabi can't connect anything else then a hardrive, trough USB you can connect anything and most important of all you can duplicate the number of USB's with an ordinary hub, With a SATA you are very limited unless you use one of those SATA/USB hybrid ports that we are used to on newer laptops. It's SATA and USB at the same time, still if you use one you can't use the other so USB3 would still be best, you duplicate the ports and you can connect a hardrive and a iphone at the same time.

What am I dreaming about? not even one of the optical drive emulators are available.

Awwww this made me "lol" ill take it that is just a prototype it looks like some homemade alternative to buying a ODD emulator im pretty sure its an old palm pilot, as for alternatives im pretty sure they would have been able to implement some sort of  bluetooth alternative that works with most phones, but im sure this will be done anyway by someone, even IR would be fairly easy to implement even if they have the lil screen they could have the names scrolling like banner style a IR remote would be fine then from a distance,

but basically there is a hundred diffrent ways to "control" stuff plenty of alternatives and once all these devices are released expect realworld modders who know what real people want to do to change games, expect to see plenty of "mods" for diffrent controlling methods, we will probs get a iphone, android and pc interface, possibilities are...well they arnt exactly endless but theres plenty out there for people who want them enough

Maybe they are using old discontinued technology that was capable of fitting the profile of what was needed rather then spending $ developing new hardware from the ground up. Why spend millions of developing something when you could just buy something that costed someone else millions before that is worthless to them but worth more to you since it fits what you need in the project.

They use a generic screen made for PDAs and cheap Chinese touchscreen phones.

yeah but in fairness they "could/should" have had some sort of overlay with their logo or somthing, pretty sure its just a prototype anyway so people shouldnt panic they will slap a lil sticker along the bottom if its such a worry  biggrin.gif , but still if they are using china generic parts, whats the build quiality going to be like chinese phones are notorious for beeing poorly made and touch screens fail quite often becoming very unresponsive, loosing half of the usable area or worse due to poor quality control. yeah its nice to save money but will suck for the people who buy this and after a few weeks the touchscreen stops working.

BUT before people start to flame of course i have no idea about this device personally, so this is in no way a fact! more of a general observation and hopefully they have purchased the screens from a supplier who doesnt make shoddy 3rd grade screens for $2, only time will tell, but i would like to see some reviews on the diffrent devices from reputable sources and not their personal beta testers who are virtually obliged to say its great and overlook any flaws

Goodluck anyone who has it preordered and i really do hope it works great, sorry if i sound a pessimist biggrin.gif

Demo video of module 2 with cover-flow. Touch response looks shitty but it is a demo video.
