Matrix Glitcher Speed Test and NAND Flasher

The Matrix team released a video showing the speed of their Matrix Glitcher RGH modchip and also announced the release of their own NAND Flasher:

Some people wrote to us asking how quick the Matrix Glitcher is in booting Xell.
Here is a video we found on the web. We believe that a third party test done by a professional installer is worth more than a thousand words we could wrote:

The Matrix NAND Programmer is shipping!
The first batch of Matrix NAND Programmer has been assembled and is shipping to our resellers.
It features a PIC18F2455 microcontroller for stable and quick reading/writing of all NAND models available on the different XBOX360 models.  The Matrix NAND programmer is also fully compatible with NANDPRO 2.0e and several other third party programming tools.

Features:
* Fast USB SPI 360 NAND programmer.
* Fully compatible with all XBOX360 NAND models.
* Fully compatible with NandPro2.0e Software and other third party software.
* Easily reprogrammable with via USB connector.
* Quick reading and writing times.
* Microchip based for enhanced stability.

A single boot doesn't say shit... it can boot instantly the first time, and take like a minute the next time.

Pretty much this.

It has a 25% chance to boot instantly. Every other time it will have several seconds delay.

Exactly what I was going to post man.... Would have been better to see a few power cycles to prove it......

And sure you did not know him we believe you  blink.gif

This is kinda like back in 2007 when the kingkong exploit came out now it's only a matter of time when this becomes a jtag:P

On the reseller sites it says the chips are blank and you need a jtag cable. Assuming that would not mean their nand  programmer but a whole different cable?

decisions decisions! so many to chose from

x-s should make an RGH and ODD chart for comparisons like they did with modchips way back when

Most likely said to avoid any legal action from Microsoft..  I couldn't see them shipping these blank with the programmer not even yet available.

And as other posters have stated this doesn't show jack.  As this uses the exact same components as a C-mod then it will have the same success.  My experience is that times vary from 8s to 1m.  My first ever boot was 4 secs.. every other boot has been at least 18 secs with the majority of boots between 20 and 30s.

thanks for the honesty and quick reply to the negative posts including mine.

Does anyone see a problem with these statements...

"It features a PIC18F2455 microcontroller for stable and quick reading/writing of all NAND models available on the different XBOX360 models."

* Fully compatible with all XBOX360 NAND models.

Xenon and Falcon come to mind.  Glitch doesn't work with Xenon, no HDMI.  Current glitch "software" doesn't work with Falcon due to timing.

Per the original Glitch hack posted on 08/28/11...

(expect Xenon, Falcon support will follow later)

The information posted by infinity is misleading without the fine print.   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Using a PIC - interesting.  Would love to see the schematic for it.

amazing. thats no matrix glitcher thats a COOL RUNNER and look how fast it works like a champ. lol.

its sad but most companies are going to market their product as faster then others when in reality they are all just about the same.

That board is used to read the NAND and not the glitch. The NAND has always been able to be read, but without the CPU key it was kinda useless. Xenons can be jtaged in which you would need to read the NAND, just can't glitch a Xenon. I know it gets confusing with everyone interchanging words and dubbing their own.

quick question, I have a maximus nand flasher and will that work with this matrix glitch chip? I can just dump the nade with my maximus then flash matrix chip with the maximus or I gotta buy the matrix nand flasher too?

also it says I gotta program the chip. does it come with the jtag cable or I need to get that too? assuming a pre programmed chip would be "illegal" with MS code?

Yeah, that would be cool, specially because news just don't stop coming...

But still I'm waiting more is for a true dashboard 4 this glitches, and therefore make it fully J-tagged...
Keep Cool
