this looks great it really does BUT before i get my hands on this i want to see how this hardware is gonna run with live....i really hope it turns out in a positive way

yes i ordered it already. Or are they just stalling. What does the fact that it's running a game on live mean? Is that why it's been delayed because they were trying to figure out how to get it running on live? It sounds shady and sketchy to me. I see that it already plays XGD3 when they release the driver san francisco video

i see they also got it working with 1071 firmware drives.

Update 18th September: The device is still not here. It's over 2 months late from their initial estimated due date. Every date we get, that we pass onto our customers comes and goes. It's beyond the point of frustration and embarrassment for us to let our customers down like this, but at the same time not be in control of helping the situation. The reasons for the delays (not that it matters at this point) are just a bunch of silly things some chinese suppliers overlooked. We get given new estimations, but there really isn't any point in passing them on, as we don't want to look like idiots anymore (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So...here is the deal:

We have an xKey here. It is a nice unit, and everything works. You know the point down the bottom thats is also on the official website saying "Supports most Xbox 360 games", its a lie - it works with everything single game. You know how it says its not xbox live safe? Well there are 3 units on live around the world, and everyone is playing fine. It is as safe as CFW is (drive flashing) but the team want to make it safer as they think CFW is not good enough.

No I'm happy too. However to be honest I do not think this device will ever be safe on Live. The custom FW has never been safe and I doubt this will be any different.

I am glad they are kicking ass on the updates, but we could have got them after they shipped the device.

I have no doubt the delays are beyond their control and that they are doing everything to get them out. After all there is no benefit in it for them to delay this.

Here is the last email I got from my supplier on the 18th

The second problem they had was with the MicroSD memory cards, each x360key is going to ship with a 128mb MicroSD memory card that holds your drive key etc. Their stock of these MicroSD memory cards arrived this week shortly after the main boards, but unfortunately the majority of them were faulty, they have had to order an entire new batch of those, they didnt give us any eta on those but we assume its not going to take long to track down MicroSD memory cards. We guess some good news is that they are testing everything before they ship and were able to find these problems before we received and sent out to customers.

The wait has been a test of everyone's patients.
Sounds like they have ironed out all the bugs though and its only down to a few extra components that need to be acquired. I'm pretty confident the first thousand units should ship out this week.
If it doesn't happen then at least they will have more units from the second run to ship when they are ready next week.

bloody hell micro sd cards and usb cables issues?who cares micro sd cards are like 10 bucks and i swear iv got 6 thoudsand usb cables just sitting around gathering dust.ship the sodding thing already.

lol just send mine without the the sd card and usb cable saying that ive heard there like gold dust those sd cards and for usb cables theres a pc world on the moon got them instock
