Do these devices only work on JTAG consoles?

 Not needed on a jtag.

Would I not be right in thinking there is hardware developed,
all waiting for C4EVA slim firmware release?

One easily flashes your drive to play backups, (the one
advertised on C4EVA speaks?), the others require you to never
burn a game to disc again, but store on HDD, ie ODD (Optical
Disc Drive) emulator?.

Hardware x360key, and XODE. XODE seem to me to be Chinese or
from same continent due to language used. Both maybe
considered real competition, which is also relying on C4EVA
firmware to be released?.

One thought, XBSlink links systems similar to LIVE, yet has a ping cap, anything over which wont work,
whereas, xbox360 consoles, as far as I'm aware, do not have
problem connecting around the world?.
As standard net connections with data take v small amount of
time, could it be that playing game straight off a HDD will
eliminate ping issues, and possible alternate live networks
systems to be set up?..........

Ping checks are built into the xbox 360 if I am not mistaken, only way I have seen those get removed are with a jtag system, an ODE will not be able to take out the ping as all they do is emulate the Optical Disc Drive.  Alternate live networks = xlink etc... and those are only good with games on the jtag systems mostly.  Anyways, I believe WODE won't release anything as they are going to Reverse Engineer Xbox 360 key, hence in may when the promised a video with more features etc, it was never released.  C4eva is supporting them because he will be getting a cut from it ofc and...even though he deserves the money for all his hard work, no need to rip off people by charging an arm and a leg for something.  If it costs more than a game, I wont be purchasing it, if it costs less, I might consider it, but as of right now I am going to be trying out that xbox360key as the XODE even though it sounds great does not exist, no pictures, no demos, no videos, NOTHING out there...  Reverse Engineering someone else's hard work and calling it your own is shady and will not get my money to begin with.
