That's certainly a long-needed good news.

1) I hope Jungle-something and C4eva aren't related to this project at all. That stupid monopoly has been feeding their arrogant ego for too long to my tastes.

2) It is no coincidence that this was announced almost simultaneously with XGD3 and drive-flashing dashboard updates.

Hi
I’ve been a long time lurker on these forums and I finally decided to join this nice community  biggrin.gif

Ok on topic... I just don't understand people who think like this? Why is it okay for everyone else to make
money for there efforts, but the people who make this all happen c4eva, team jungle etc.. is somehow frowned
upon when they want something in return?

Funny thing is that the people who are making money from the products they sell would have nothing if it weren't for those guys (c4eva, team jungle etc). That's why teamX decided to support them, because if they want to keep being in business they know they need those skilled people. And thanks to them, you/we still get all the firmwares for free. Say what you will about teamX but they're the ones who stepped in when this was almost all over.

And how are they arrogant?.. to me arrogance is when a person thinks everyone else owe's them. How are they that when they supported the firmware scene for years without asking for anything??? Don't forget they are the ones risking it for us! don't believe me check out what's happening on the ps3 scene. Everyone (Reverse engineers, coders, linux people etc) are getting sued and have there lives flipped upside down.

"Well if not them than someone else will make firmwares" thats another one i love "sarcasm". Honestly i believe that if c4eva decided to leave today, the firmware scene would be dead until the end of the xbox 360's life cycle. Don't think for a second that the x360key won't rely on c4eva's firmware.

OKAY sorry for the long post, and i mean no disrespect to anyone, it's only my view on things. To conclude i really hope c4eva & team jungle are involved, even if its not publicly advertised. At least i know it's quality stuff and heck i hope they get a piece of pie too.

the end of DVD FLASHING LOL! I just got my USBPRO too sad.gifsad.gif. if this comes out before 0225 firmware im gonna B pissed! I would pay up to 100 bucks for this smile.gif.

Naw. It'll be cost prohibitive for many. Not everyone wants to hoard every single game like it's worth it's weight in gold so they'll just stick to disc backups for the few games they need them for.

That very well could be, but doesn't mean the device isn't linux, a quick ssh session via putty or what have you

The Laptop IS running XP, it is probably using a console session (like putty) to read from the device.

Wow.  So many ridiculous posts here.  I can confirm what OzModchips has already posted.  The device is real and from the same team as Wiikey, Drivekey, etc.

are u kidding?
How many softmod users got bricked or need to install million of different cios or isos for playing games?
almost every second game needs a differnet loader etc.

with wode u can just make plug and play for HDD and DVD

No i'm not kidding...
I have my 1 cios and 1 backup loader that works for every game I've thrown at it, ISO on a HDD/SD Card/USB Stick or a burned Disc. Sure every once in a while a new version of that cios comes out but it's a one button update. My backup loader can update itself. It works with wbfs, fat, ntfs. Has Wifi or USB dumping.
When a new firmware got released for Wii it was just a matter of waiting a day or two and using the safe updater if you wanted to be on the latest firmware.

I was only curious about this wode thing because frankly I had never actually heard of it until I saw it mentioned in this thread.

DUDE can this be used on a regular xbox 360 thats not modded and soon to be xbox live supported.

According to their Website (under the Features section) it clearly states...
No drive flashing or JTAG hack required

Let's just hope that the device is also Xbox Live safe!

This looks to be a great bit of kit...

But I know for sure, that I will not be updating my box because im willing to bet almost guarantee that MS will lock this out with an update.

Really interesting stuff though this...I hope it works...It says works with most games...Which is a little alarming in truth...not all...most...

I never need to think about bricks or cios stuff and I can play as well, Isos or wbfs from HDD, SD and DVD.
I see million of people asking in different forums which cios they need or why this game is not working with this loader..or even why its bricked. nah, 40 Euros are good invested in a modchip like wode.

Of course, no LIVE = this device is great. But in that situation, I'm not sure how many people would care -- JTAG's are inherently better.

On that statement i have to reply with this:

Jtags "may" be a darn site better BUT Its a matter of technical knowledge and money!
I for one don't have the technical knowledge nor the 200 / 300 gbp for a jtaggable console.
If this gadget is cheap enough i WILL be buying it for sure, Its a middle ground for the mere mortal such as me.
Also as it is especially a micro linux box the stuff that can / may be done is pretty cool . . . .

Looks like Pegaxy From wiikey is behind the X360key. But the twitter name of X360key is Naughtius Maximus, so could it be Maximus who is behind this all?

Does anyone knows this for sure?
