We have had a few requests from users to provide them with a way to solve their software bricked BENQ drives. We have arrived at a simple solution to Unbrick with with the help of the Maximus Scorpion tool. As you may have remembered in the past we showed you how to use the Maximus Scorpion tool to Unbrick Samsung Drives. This combination its becoming the number one tool for software unbricks; and yes we are sure the "other" team will just copy the method as a feature of their product soon, just remember where you saw it first. Below is a video showing you this simple solution.

Also we have posted a video tutorial to retrieve the keys from the Lite-on SLIM DVD drives, its a feature that has been built into the Maximus 360lizard since launch. Video is listed below:

Noob:  "... operator, I think I bricked my Samsung and my BenQ drive.. please help! "

Support: ".. have you tried using any connectivity kit and in JF pressing intro/devID then switching the kit off then back on again?"

Noob: ".. really, it's as easy as that.. why are there tutorials on the net showing me how to use a $100 bit of kit to 'unbrick' my device? "

Support: ".. beats us sir, have a nice day. "

Great work on all other drives though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I hate to comment on amateur stuff like this but here goes.....

1. The Xecuter X360USB PRO Unbricks (Bad Flashes) 99% of Samsungs on its own (in fact out of all the tests from the entire team forcing Samsungs to brick in every way possible - there was only one occasion that it wouldn't bad flash / unbrick - and I'm talking HUNDREDS of tests here by 15 different guys). For those that are REALLY bad then sure you can just use the free PMT or PROBE 3 as per this image - and this method has been going around the scene for a LONG time but was always deemed unnecessary as it mimics using a VIA 6421 card. Luckily, that type of hack will rarely be needed as the X360USB PRO is actually designed to work well - with all drives.

Or you can use the "BadAss" USB addon. Whats Thats? oh wait that must have been "copied" that too right ?  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

2. The Xecuter X360USB PRO Unbricks (Badflashes) Benq's all on its own. No extra tools or methods needed. As it should be.

Maybe if these guys concentrated on a working product then maybe they would have some credibility. Fortunately they are now exposed for what they really are, a group who cares only about being first and not being best at the expense of their paying customers. being first is great if the thing works, otherwise there are no bragging rights. In fact its cringe-worthy, especially when you read the constant deluge of dumb comments to try and hide the fact that they pushed out a product that hardly does anything that was advertised and charging you out of the ass for it while doing everything possible to bash the competition on a product that they haven't even seen or know anything about. You only have to see their "support" channel to see that their product is completely untested and lacks most of the features they promised.

Unlike them all of the X360USB PRO advertised features work 100% out of the box with many thousands of test hours.

I won't even waste my time highlighting everything that TM have "copied" its embarrassing. This is a modding scene - thats what we all do. We reverse engineer and hack ffs. To whine about using someone elses ideas and making it better, cleaner and cheaper is just lame when you consider the type of products we are all making and using in the first place. Xecuter's hardware and software has been "copied" a thousand times over the last 10 years. That's the nature of the beast in a hacking scene. Do they cry and bitch about it ? No. Get over it.

Wow, giving you NO-Solder method for liteon does not give us NONE credibility ?
So this kind of benq brick shown in the video is fixed by the usbpro itself ?  U sure? dont want to try it first?

We dont cry for being copied just pointed it, otherwise we would have spend the last 3 years crying... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And now we are the bashers?  what about the childist names they use for their products?  yeah thats a mature team !

that tells me you are stupid enough for not reading the manual or watch the video tutorial.
i own a games shop, i've been flashing thousands of XBOX 360 since 2007 (7653 to be exact, it's in my database)
never had any problem with maximus tools or stuffs, even with his toolbox, not even ask customer support or friends.
it's all there, clearly in the manuals and video tutorials, IMHO it's so easy to use, so your post explains how stupid you are.

Okay so i am really confused, can i get this cleared up?
I have a slim (dont know which version of liteon drive) and i would like to flash it. Now X360usb pro features read/write. does Maximus 360lizard support write for slim drives? And i had Maximus Xtractor, is that thing obsolete now? I only used it to flash my older elite Lite-on 7XXX drive.

X360USB suports read & write, yes thats true, but what do you want to write into slim's drive?
thats if you had something to write into it. the CFW has not been released yet

many thousands of test hours? lol... yeah. i think that's a bit of an exaggeration.

but really though, i think tx hit the bulls-eye dead center this time. their usb pro seems like it's really going to be great. is it something i need? no. but to have something that makes flashing that much easier will be very nice. so i plan on getting one.  i thought the lizard looked pretty good too, until i saw the price. sorry mazimus, but when all the b.s. is cleared, what it all comes down to is price.  both devices will get the job done. but won't most people choose to save some money?
