please dont be fooled by copycat vaporware folks. and pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. I'm sure team exlax will release an original product eventually.  you may find karma to be a cruel bitch, but some of us choose to Think. Different.

JungleFlasher v0.1.79b (208S)

PhatKey Suport.

...

Nice one, Oggy! smile.gif
I've read POGO_MO_THOIN.pdf and I have some questions...

"Please Note, the only ways to know 100% that a key is good, is to ensure your drive key was verified by JF or flash your firmware to a identical drive first and test it in the xbox itself" - it's from the manual.

But you have CDB to check if the key is good. So why you just not add this feature in JF too to check dumped key against STILL UNMODDED (not erased, with original firmware) drive?

Maybe it'll be good to add "Verify key" button into DVDKey 32 tab?... smile.gif

"Key has been tested and verified, thanks C4eva!" - that's what I'm talking about.

---

One more thing. Can we read full dump using this solution or only just key+inquiry+identify+serials=dummy? I've saw on pictures that JF says "No calibration data in source"...

Thanks!

key verification works by making sure other info in the firmware matches, not the key.  it more or less makes sure a dump matches the drive, no thtat the key is right.  it assumes that current methods get the right key, which they do.

oggy, how does this new capacitor key extraction work if u don't mind blowing my mind.  is this a hack or something that was built into the drives on purpose?

Huh? What about DVDKey 32 then? We probing R707 and getting only key+inquiry+identify+serial from PLDS DG-16D2S 74850C, but key verification works fine. So it looks like don't need full dump to verify key against the drive. By the way DosFlash (16bit version at least) have this feature!

Thought PMT would be a full dump and get all the calibration data too, wishful thinking sad.gif

Guess I will stick with MRA full dump (yes I am pedantic and likes full dumps)

The key is verified, after dump/before erase,

Thhat was just a c/p from the original tutorial, that oviously hadnt been removed when Key Verification was added to JF.

Also, It doesnt dump 3c000 data, its redundant information, anyway.

Key Verification works by verifying the KEY against the drive  - Not any other data.

OggyUK, but can you add Key Verification button anyway? It would be useful to check keys from my own database against flashed drive in service - I haven't got all keys in JF's database in registry and JF can't find it automatically.

I've make my own scheme - please check is everything is OK here.

(IMG:http://homie7.narod.ru/pogo_mo_thoin_-_scheme_by_homie7_-_v1.0.png)

Big place for capacitor, small place for LED.

Also I have another question. It is OK to use capacitor which is designed for 2.5v with 3.3v?

Right click source/target area - key verify is in there.
