Iv never done a full dump on any drive .im probably just as safe as anyone else doing the mra method

I just use the default calibration data .if ms ban me I lose out on 20 gbp which is all my 360 cost me(e74 still had warranty ,unopened sent back to ms

had it been opened I would of fixed)

where did you get the capicitor from? and what name and stuff is it.

EDIT: when i go to radioshack they are labeled as 1.0 UF, not 1.0 F

1uF is too small. I have no idea about america but i went into a small electronic shop and asked for something close to 2,5v 1F and got a 1,8v 3,5F and a 5,5v 0.68F and the latter one did the job for me.

Im trying to flash a 93450 Lite on drive using this method and i keep getting stuck on the 5 second power off part it keeps saying phatkey failed heres what it says in JF

Drive is Lite-On..
Sending Vendor Intro to port 0x0970
Status 0xD0
Re-sending Vendor Intro:
.............
Serial flash found with Status 0x52

Extracted drive key failed Verification !

PhatKey extraction failed!

Im using the xbox to power the drive I dont know if maybe im missing something? The drive is Stock FW

GREAT NEWS!!! One russian guy make another solution. It isn't required capacitor at all!!!

I'll post it here and on xboxhacker.org tomorrow! At first we'll fix russian manual, and then I'll translate it to english for you guys!

If you read the tutorials you'll see there's really no need to create multiple "tutorials" for each spear... it's very straightforward. The spear part of each "Spear" is really all you need. Get yourself a 1F 2.5v cap and solder it according to the original guide. If you're referring to the "Scorpion," then you don't need to do any of that, you can use it as is, or wire the 3.3V and GND leads that you'd normally connect to the IC to the 3.3V and GND of the dvd power cable.

any thing special about that spear? or can i use a multimeter prob?

you can use a multimeter probe, needle, pin, component leg, etc.

Hi, HOMiE7

1. Power on drive, swith on.
2. Press PhatKey, then Yes
3. Put switch off, connect GND to MPX01, Put switch on.
4. After "Extract Complete" power off the drive, disconnect GND from MPX01.
5. Power on the drive, then press OK.
6. Done!
