Yes no solde no cut on PHAT !!! but.....

Quite from Lizard's site:
Q. - Will the lizard help me to hack the 0225 Slim Drives?
A.- Absolutelly but there are issues with that drive, it is hardware locked and the most realistic scenario is that a hardware accesory (cannot anticipate on this topic) will be required in order to make the drive writteable, but so far you can take the keys of the 0225 drives without problem with lizard.

They are not ready yet for the slim versions... when I heard about No cut NO solder, I was going to get it, but then read this.. makes you wonder..

where does it say anywhere team x, C4E or even JF has 0225 working??

NO WHERE

Can they get the keys, yes, they have stated this, can lizard get the key yes, we have stated this, but as Macximus has said 0225 is hardware locked, DON;T expect an 0225 solution for awhile

Maximus would get more respect from me if they didn't participate in the 'mud-slinging' wars which seem to go on. Just release the product and those who want it will buy it. End of.

As far I remember the c4e and Xecuter team have announced that they will include a solution for write feature on 0225 with the Jungleflasher when the 360USB is published. I can't recall the post but I remember well I read this.
For god shake.. the feaute alone that you don't have to cunt any traces is great news and I am already looking a shp that I will get mine from, but I would like to have that 0225 write feauter confirmed, before I buy the product and then I realize that I need an Xecuter product to to the slims, and end up using two tools, again, but this time very expensive.

are you serious? so that must mean you have ZERO respect for tx? case in point: the minimus jailbreak dongle. its a tx product clearly intended on being a cheapshot at maximus. letsmod was quoting them when he used the term copycat & mouse. The guerilla marketing they do with people like you out there discrediting maximus by trying to slander them because thats the only shot to take? I could go on all day. The reality is that team Maximus presents themselves with integrity and professionalism.stop taking cheapshots. Especially ones that dont hold water

I didn't state at any point the traffic was one-way. I suggest you re-read my statement again and get off your high horse.

DEfinitely NOT true.  that rumor is way out of left field. but i did hear that the usbpro has "blast processing" and "Mode 6 graphics"!!

and I am an Autronaupht smile.gif I saw a log, a chat with c4e from IRC, that was it, not rumors.

these tools are getting redundant. just trying to squeeze the market at every step. you know what would sell even better? progress. get familiar with it.

team-x are a bunch of arrogant tossers, i'll be buying a Lizard smile.gif

Eh? why are they arrogant? what i see is six of one half a dozen of the other, pot kettle black and any other idiom you can think of.  I say best of luck to the both of them, but i myself will be going the team-x route.

The price of 75 pounds (85 in fact) in UK is just absurd... How should I take their product instead TeamX' when their's is only 40 pounds and has full JF compatibility (Maximus said nothing about software...). If I'm not mistaken X360USB is upgradable too. Damn I made a probe for my CK3 Lite from a guitar string and a pen...

Never the less, I'll consider it if better resellers (or prices) come along...

As far as I know, the Lizard doesn't need external software to function. All of the functions (reading, writing, etc.) are done via onboard software (firmware) and firmware dumps are stored on a MicroSD card, and it won't rely on JF. I could be wrong, that's just the impression that I got.

Pretty cool news regarding the true no-cut/no-solder dumping of 8 and 9-series drives. Is it just the keys (meaning we still lose calibration data ala v7 Spear) or is it a full OFW dump?

A solution that allows for a modder to more easily offer mobile services isn't progress?  I actually have a couple of laptops that have a pcmcia slot, and I purchased 2 different VIA pcmcia 6421 cards and neither of them worked for me, so that's about $70 down the drain!

Speaking as a person who would otherwise not own a desktop except for the need to flash 360s, I can tell you that these solution are progress.  Yes, it may not seem like anything useful if you already have a working system, but to some of us it is progress smile.gif

When Microsoft comes out with newer revisions of the 360, we don't see that as an attempt to squeeze the market, most of us just go "look! new potential customers!"

Software for the 360 Lizard: http://www.360lizard...e/downloads.php

Keep in mind that I'm no shill for either team. I just think there should be a fair evaluation of each product based on its own merit.

If you've already got a working system, but would like the added ability to either go mobile with a laptop, or like to be able to get rid of the aging desktop system you only keep around for flashing, then most likely the X360USB is the product best suited to your needs.

If you're just getting into the scene now to start modding 360s, then most likely the 360Lizard is your best buy, or waiting until the X360USB with integrated CK3 is released.

If you'd like to be able to go mobile and in the future perhaps not need to carry a laptop, then the 360Lizard is your product.

Happy modding folks  beerchug.gif

I assume it's is based on MRA and is just an innovative idea/solution. I have known about this for about this for 2 months. Lol. I can't say what it does or how it works.

Did you know anything about the spears and what it actually does? Because he won't tell me even though I bought like 80 spears off him. What is the key gotten from the serial actually about? Is it just a voltage signal via a rs232 converter to the dvdkey program? So it was all made up? The liteons all could be dumped via serial ATA? Do you know anything about Geremia? Did team x and Modfreakz make all this up? Wow...what if truth got out. I bet it's just a monitor for voltage levels just to set off the dummy program to null  the ATA connection. It is like a stopper function. Wow. But who could code a dvdkey firmware dumper program anyways. Very elaborate way to make money. Hey im not against it , I just want to know.
