Doesnt Read Games Unless I Play With The Laser

Everytime I turn off a 360 then eventually back on
it wont read games
its the              "Open Tray Error" message  (when there is a game in there)
I have to take apart the drive and move the laser in order to get it to work

seen this happen on a few 360s

How can I fix it?  thanks!
