You can't do a proper ap2.5 rip now with 0800 firmware you have to patch images.

they have not said about power sources only that they will release a version with ck integrated at later time the ck still needs a power source.

yeah i can read, been doing it twice as long as most perhaps, but at one point in time it was available for preorder on these sites, so i still find it funny.

Do you guys think that you can power this one using the Maximus Xtractor too? I much prefer this solution over the Lizard, but I don't have the CK3 but Xtractor Pro + Spear addon instead.

Correct. And on top of that: 12 Min for a rip is nothing to brag about,
because software like hektograph do a full rip in ~8mins.

The only interesting thing is the new ap2.5 sector: Is a new
0800 firmware coming that enables the creation of this
additional sector. Nothing in the nbews clears this up.
One has tzo remember that the difference between an
old image (non ap25) and a new (with ap25) image is
just an additional security sector placed in the image.
Currently there is no device available to create this sector.
Kreon FW has not been updated yet. A new 0800 FW
is also not avalable.

One might think that xecuter and c4eva may boost sales
by forcing to buy this hardware to create the new sector.

c4eva said he cannot release a 0800 FW to rip AP2.5 because it would reveal a security hole used for hacking future drives.

this looks pretty good would be nice to not have to take apart my pc to flash a drive. What I would really like to see is a device similar to WODE.
