$99.90!!!

Not a freaking chance

What is it with the bloated charges for some of these accessories, i guess there is 2 ways of doing business, gouge a few with high prices or sell a lot at a reasonable price and feel good about yourself!

lmao, what a joke!

Who in there right mind is gunna buy this at that price?

Who exactly are they aiming at here, the novice modder or the seasoned modder because I cant really see anybody wanting this, yeah its a semi-standalone flasher but the price just makes it completley impractical.

99 is not that bad. If I didn't already have a ck3 pro with probe, I might consider investing. If this came along 2 years ago I would probably be all over it.

I had to invest in a raid card, CK3 with probe. I also set up an old HD I had laying around just for installs (time=money). Just sayin, If you're starting from scratch, may not be a bad idea.

For the ease of use it provides as a stand-alone unit, I'd say $110 is a good starting point.

Wow,

give em your email addy and they'll send you a free one.  There are people that will mod the average users DVD rom for $30 so why pay that price, I think you'll find that the average user doesn't have $130 to splurge on an item that they will probably only use once. People have been getting along before this came out. Dont call people ingrates... there was no personal insults so don't behave like a child with the name calling.

its not name calling when everytime a new device is posted on here and users ALWAYS leave negative feedback about maximus and tx trying to milk the community.its always the same sad song, the price is too high or this product is useless blah blah blah.the chances of someone using this once and never using it again are slim to none.thats like saying there wont be any future firmware releases or that november next year we wont have to wait for LT +b just before christmas as we have for the past 2-3 years.to me its seems alot better to pay out 99$ one time then having to rely on someone else to flash a drive.

The game has changed, drives are getting a little harder to redo with traces being cut etc, so for those people with the latest drives and limited skills then this is not the device for them. for the professional modder who does a lot of drives then fine, splurge. for those with the limited skills, get a friend or someone who can do it for them rather than have the false confidence that this device may give to them on the drives that need cutting.  For those who are looking to buy, make sure you can do the job before you spend.

For those complaining , simple solution dont buy it.. for those of us who do a ton of drives this is beneficial.. I jtag and mod alot of systems..  sometimes i'm on the go doing jtagging and modding leaving me with only my laptop while im either in town on the go or outta state on the go.. I make frequent 500 mile trips south to help out friends ect and this will definately beat having to drag a pc around to mod drives in a hotel room .. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)   I will be ordering a few..

i cant believe everyone crying bout the price!!you guys are effin cheap!!how come every time a device comes along that may not be useful for some users or too much money for some of the cheapos to afford people gotta start flaming.look how much your saving on gaming every year.now a product comes along that simplifies the process and enables people without computers or only laptop access to flash their own drives and you guys have the audacity to whine and moan.....ingrates...what hobby doesnt involve a little investment to stay current with the technologies associated with said hobby.if u cheapos think your pirates think again....leeechers would be the term that comes to my mind.99$ is a great price for this product, even 110 is a steal!!

thanks alot maximus!!love the product!!

In what way? Pretty obvious on what you're getting at there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Anyway, for $100 I want it to flash the 8xxx v2 & 9xxx models without having to cut traces. But it doesn't so it's no use for me. My CK3 is doing well.
