E68 - Is My Harddrive Screwed?
« on: November 27, 2010, 08:06:00 PM »

Hey guys.. I tried starting up my 360 and I was greeted by an e68, apparantly it means the harddrive is screwed. And it really seems like it is.. It's a 250gb hacked WDBEVS. When I turn on the 360, you can hear it.. It's making this sound, almost like an alarm. I want to call it an alarm but I am not sure.. It sounds like buzzing, 2 tones one after another. I plugged it into my PC and same thing happens, plus blue screen because of hardware failure...

This REALLY sucks because I almost beat assassins creed 2...is there any hope for this harddrive, or at least pulling the game saves/content off of it? Any help is greatly appreciated..

I have tried some basic things.. Another harddrive works, a 20gb.. tried removing it a few times.. don't know what to do now.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
