Hdd 60gb To 120gb Questions

I need to chang my original 60gb hdd to an original 120gb hdd, but how can I back up the data?I have jtag, it's ok if I copy the "content" folder to my external usb hd via xex menu , then put the new 120 gb hdd and copy back the content folder from the usd hd to  the new 120gb  hdd?It works?And for the gamesaves and the others folder?I must resign something?
