So i bought a 360 pro for cheap that wasn't reading disks.  I have had a local console repair try to get the drive to work by doing pot adjustment and the like but it's still not working.  Realized after I bought it that the case had been opened before (stupid me).  I have no problem trying to do a laser replacement on it to get it to work.  Question is though if for some reason it's not the original drive is there anyway to get it to ever play games again without the original drive key?  It can't be jtagged either, dashboard is too new.  would flashing the drive with ixtreme let me play games on it?  Hoping it's the laser to get it up and going, if not i'll sell it for parts. thanks

If you sure that DVD key isn't original one then you just became spare parts supplier (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
