I got an Xbox 360 S because I gave my old 360 fat to my brother, which has almost all of its quirks fixed by me, as a present, and I got a new 360 S, but I was well aware of the consequences of voiding the warranty, but I knew from that point onwards, it would still be released with a volatile fate. Opening the case, like trying to find Xbox 360 S "red dot of death" fixes is quite a bureaucracy, but, nonetheless, I'm hopeful that I will my answer to the solution.
I also tried the X-clamp replacement but my hypothesis would be that it's impossible to overheat the graphics processor because of it's integration to the CPU. I even removed the X-Clamps and put tem back, but straightening the "binding X" was not very simple.
I had a red dot ever since, but I have a considerable amount of circuitry experience, but I'm still trying to find a comprehensive technical guide, but it seems I might have to wait four-six months for one to be made.
If there are any technical guides that I am oblivious to, post or refer.
