Windows sees it as an Unknown device, the original 360 doesn't recognize it.

the 360 Slim will not recognize it when connected to any usb port other than its own.

it is based on a Marvell 88W8786U chip, which is an all in one wireless solution.

Marvell only releases technical info to members of Extranet

I am assuming any drivers for a device based on this chip will work for it, so if anyone can find a USB wifi device based on this chip please share.

I strongly suspect microsoft cobbled it to 65 mbit max
the chipset supports 150 though
