Hitachi 47 - Not Powering Properly
« on: September 11, 2010, 05:04:00 AM »

Hi Guys, Hope someone can help.

Heres the rundown on the situation.

I plugged a 47 Hitachi into my pc, to begin a flashing process. The drive powered up fine by my CK3 kit ejected etc. Anyway I was having a problem getting it to detect in windows, so i closed the tray turned off the power, removed the drive and did a few things to my PC.

This leads up to my problem, since then, this drive now no longer powers on correctly after reconnecting it to my CK3 kit.

Ive opened her up and notice if i push the laser along the rails when I first power up the laser lights and sets itself to the centre then nothing.

The drive does not eject, or function at all.

I have tried powering via CK3 & Xbox, both non responsive. The only response is the initial laser move movement and light up.

Has there been similar instances of this ? And does anyone know what could be the issue?

Retrieving the key is my priority and saving the drive is a far away second.

Any help would be appreciated.
