Hello my friends, this will be quick: Is it possible that a HDD cause a RROD?

It's just that I have an Xbox 360 Arcade (Jasper) and I want to buy an used HDD. I found someone who is selling his HALO 3 XBOX360 HDD; and I'm more than sure that he's selling it because his former halo 3 edition xbox 360 got RROD.

So, is it dangerous to use it? I've searched everywhere in the forums, but I just couldn't find anything!

It wont be dangerous to use. You'll be fine. Just be sure to format it through your console once you receive it.
