I have just got my hands on one of the halo3 360's, and it has not over heated, it works 100% and it has a Zepher MB

and the best thing of all is its running the old blades dashboard

this 360 had a faulty dvd drive, it had a benq drive that wouldent read disks, i had a faulty lite on drive that read disks but the gears were noisy as hell,

They were diffrent drives the lazers looked the same so i swapped it over and whoo,, it workes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

now i am going to try and do as much as possible to prevent this MB from over heating

so, there are lots of sellers on ebay selling these thermal pads to help reduce the over heating problems, these go on the underside of the board

and there are few sellers selling heatsinks that got on top of 2 chips on the top side of the MB

these prices seem a little high though for what they are,, anyone know of any cheaper sellers?

i already have some whisper fans, and the other fan set that cools the gpu and has another fan that sits at an angle (i cant remember what its called off the top of my head)

but seeing these consoles are becoming hard to find with the old dashboard i want to make sure that this one lasts,

also is it best to remove the xclamps as a precaution or leave them in place if i am going to be performing these mods
