so i have this xenon board laying around , the thing it miss is a power jack
and also both heat sinks and 2 smd caps are slitly of/missing and also the hdd jack is gone
the xbox has never been connected to xbox live and is MFR:2006-03-07
so is it Jtag-able ?

the story is i was trying to make a xbox 360 laptop and that project ended fast because wasnt interested in it anymore.

so my question is can i obtain a power jack ,and i know you can buy heat sinks from ebay ,

still ned to know som more about the smd cap´s , suld i get a picture of it?

Depends on games and dash updates but most likely yes. Your bigger issue is getting the board working ;-)

Yeah, agree. If you can get the board working, it probably has a very old dashboard. Just focus on getting it working again(buy heatsinks,buy smd caps,power jack).

cool i found the old power jack an it's in pretty god codisin dont rememmber how bad it wass i was drunk wen i removed it 3 yers ago lol

its missing some pins but what i know the 2 fist pins are signal to turn the psu on (blue-red wire)
yellow 12v and black ground am i rhite or not other wise corect me

i sdered it on ther agen but it wass tricky and it loks crap i hope it´s no problem.
like in first post no heat sinks´s so no testing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yeah you need to get some heatsinks. I did however have some thin alum laying around and have used that and put pressure on the chips with some thermal on and it may work for you.

nice but i found my old one in decent condition so i vill try to use that but if i need a replasment i vill pm you.

and also i found 2 small heatsinks that fits southbridge and ana chip but what type of stuff do i use to atach them? (som glue or tape?)

i also ripp´t the cd drive out from my old iMac, u can guess what i want to use that for. (if the box start working)

so i fixed the power jack and tried turn it on and it´s working but still no heatsiks so i dont know if i hawe eny more error´s. but its loking gud (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) happy
