Just bought a wireless racing wheel without the power supply, i'm feeling cheap so could i make a homemade power supply out of a 200watt 12v psu, Or would that fry this wheel to hell and back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muhaha.gif) ? If so, could someone give me the the specs of there power adapter for this wheel thanks.

I'm in New Zealand (230v territory) so am not sure what the power bricks are like for other territories but I suspect that their output is the same (just like the console bricks).

Model: PSC24W - 240
Input:  100v - 240v - 50 - 60Hz
           48 - 62VA
Output: 24v  - 1.0A

The PSU for the wheel is the same for all regions, hence the 100v to 240v Input range.

The only thing missing from the above description is it's Center Positive.

I take it the 12v psu will not work. I have a center positive plug that fits, would a laptop AC adapter work?

Using it would be much better than using a 12v PSU, though there will be a slight difference between using it instead of a 24v one, but it should work alright and isn't going too really harm anything.
