My problem is that I install all my games to my HDD and some of them work perfect. But on the other hand, some of them crash A LOT sometimes at the same place (ie. FF13 freezing @ cutscenes). That is when the game is installed. When I uninstall those games, they work fine.

I want them installed so as to not wear out my 360, and also to not have to endure the extremely noisy disc spinning.

I don't know if it's my HDD's problem, or the disc, or even the system itself. Anybody ever have this problem before? I tried searching everywhere but the keywords always lead me to the other problem where the game crashed when not installed (where the solution is to install the game).

Possible sources of the problem:
- 250GB HDD which I'm pretty sure is NOT of original manufacturer (not microsoft)
- games are backups
- bought the system used, got it modded to latest lite-on

I just hope it's not because of a faulty system.
