My Controller Wont Sync To My Xbox!

Hi, I don't know what the problem is but I have a solution,if you have a play a charge kit plug the cable in the xbox and controller then use the controller to turn on the xbox, after you have done this you can uplug it and it will be synced

If i ever encounter a controller that won't sync I immediately disguard it as unrepairable. I've found that sometimes what causes it is the crystal oscillator coming unsoldered, but good luck fixing it.

Controllers are a mere $26 on amazon the last time I checked with free shipping, so it's not as bad as it might have been a few years ago.

Using the PnC cable to force the controller to Sync will only work if the RF board is in working order.

Try another RF board first, sounds like that one is shot, and since you had it apart doing an LED swap on it I'd imagine that's what's wrong with it. It doesn't take much sometimes to kill one of those things, just removing it and plugging it back in has been known to kill some of them.
