So I just bough 88 salvage consoles from a new seller that I wanted to give a shot. Basicly I got garbage. Most of them the dvd's dont match. They are newer dash so not jtaggable. Any way of grabbing the dvd key from the motherboard on the new dash? Thanks

You are SOL until someone cracks the CPU encryption or finds an exploit that can boot on an updated CPU.

You know, if Microsoft were smart they'd release a dash update that either didn't bother to verify DVD keys anymore or at least allow users to marry new drives to the board somehow. I may never have discovered XBR if I wasn't looking how to get DVD keys off my consoles with mismatched drives!

Bump, actually i have a jtagged xbox but doesn't have a dvd dive either, but i do have one damaged xbox that has a dvd drive with it. couldn't i just write the keyvault from the damaged xbox into the jtagged one and use that dvd drive? Both systems are xenon as well if it helps.
