Ok, so is there any real difference between the Xecuter Nand-X and the Maximus NANDFlasher?

Please keep on topic, and avoid, "make your own" comments.

Manufacture and price... They all do the same thing.. Either buy from a name or go to the BST and buy one from someone making them in their basement or your favorite "Make one yourself"

So are xecuter's "future upgrade options" a worthless ploy?

The Xecuter Nand-X seems to be the one. Easier to install, cheaper, less soldering, and now they have announced a solderless addon.

The install looks nearly identical. Why do you say the xecuter is easier? ITs significantly cheaper. I wonder how the build quality compares, though it probably doesnt differ/matter much.
