A lot of people were asking how the NAND-X tool was installed to the motherboard. Was it really as easy as we claimed ?
Answer: YES :)

wow, same exact install as max's except with this setup shown you can only read and write, I assume they just havent made the 3rd board ready yet otherwise it would have been shown

What do you mean, 3rd board?  I am interested in buying this but I still trying to learn about all the different options.

This maybe a dumb question.  Do you still have to solder it on ?

After reading more into it, The Nand-X includes a JTAG connection to solder as well. Just because it's not pictured doesn't mean it's not included. It says so in the description of their product.

If you're not going to be helpful, then stop posting your garbage and trying to make people pick one over the other one. Stop trying to make one seem so much better than the other one.

Looks interesting, shame the machines are so damned unreliable.  The 3-year warranty on these must go down in history as the most widely-used feature of the console!

If the 360 was as reliable as the original Xbox I reckon there'd be an explosion in the use of devices such as these.  Sadly they aren't, so these exciting new developments are, in my opinion, going to be stifled by MS design.  Not secure design, just poor design. Lol , looks like my USB SPI Flasher which i build 3 or 4 month ago...
Only the Quicksolderparts are new wink.gif

But my coloured cables costs 80 Cents, so i can leave them in every  console!

The whole materialcosts are 10 Euro for private customers!
Big companies would get the parts cheaper.

I was thinking people would buy this for "commercial" use. but this quick solder set up seems... a one time shot....

I've had nothing but good experiences using mrmodchips.  I know back in the day it was very hit and miss especially if you were jewish but I pretty sure it's too big for just the one person to run by himself so customer service has improved 10 fold.  sorry to hear you haven't they've been avoiding your requests..

I too was hoping this would be a great little alternative to my olimex headerboard but clearly this isn't the case.  If they were to offer the 3~ solder boards seperately so you could leave them in each console for around £1-2 this would be a plus but this will not happen (probably more like £5 - 10).

Although not as reliable I was hoping to see pogo pins for a quick install.

Mrmodchips prices suggest $29 each which is fantastic but i think it will be £s and they'll fix this shortly.

It's a fair enough product - most people will only be using this as a one-shot for their own console, and competition drives prices, so hopefully it'll be cheaper soon. Although as exploitable 360's are now becoming harder to find, the product may have a limited run.
