Hey all.

I recently bought a broken 360 for $30. I think it has blown caps, gonna make a thread about that next...

But what I found was extremely odd.

This dude I bought it from got it modded - 12v fan mod, samsung flash, the works. The modder even signed his initials in the console..... Anyways.... This console is a LAUNCH model ok, I believe the date is 2005-12-08..

When I took the metal casing off, I noticed 2 black screws were missing... I removed the motherboard out of its tray and I found the guy used only 2 bolts, and the other 2 were the stock heatsink standoffs.. Got me thinking, this console lasted almost 5 years with half an x-clamp... let me tell you, it looked like the heatsink was warped... but it worked, for 5 years. This guy mustve known what he was doing.

**edit: forgot to mention the console only died 3 days ago.
