there’s word that downgrading with blown efuses is possible and there is all so word that there using a new method rather than the exploit that’s being used now... rumors are not for the faint of heart so well have to see. If true it’s the best news I have heard on any scean in a long time.

Never heard it on IRC or anywhere else, So please direct me to the source of this.  unsure.gif

Where did you hear that? Sounds like you just made it up. What was the new method they are trying?

Thanks for the info, I was the one who posted the question about working on all xboxes.

Sorry to hear that it won't.  I am in no rush, I can probably find one that hasn't been updated.

At the moment, mine is and just sits there.  Haven't played it in a few months.  I like the homebrew idea, like the XBMC that appears on the original xbox.  I still use the 2 I have almost every day.  Play movies for the kids etc.  I was hoping to get this one going for the HDMI hookup at least.

I truly believe that this is only the tip of the iceberg, and once the coders crack what needs to be cracked it will be somewhat wide open like the original.

No, I am not a rocket scientist either.

Until that day, I will be waiting ever so patiently.

Thanks for the info guys.  That is what makes this community great.

Hey guys,

I just want to be 100% clear here ..

I have 2 xbox 360's, both of them have been connected to and played on Live within the last week.

Does this mean I can get the Nand-X and connect it but because of a recent software update (through Live) I can NOT play home brew, copy games to HD and play without disc etc ??

Is there any way at all to reverse this update or am I doomed to find a used xbox that hasnt' been connected to Live ?

Just to be 100% clear.  Both of those xbox's cannot work with the Nand-X.  It can't be reversed.  Go find a box that is exploitable.

yep, that naming con, sorry competition was a pile of horse manure!

they said think outside the box and included an example of a name with mythical oriental meanings...then use NandX.  How lame can you get! They should rename themselves 'Team suck'...

In fact it is not true, so far the nand-X not released, almost 2 months and nothing!

Every week Mr modchips postpone the expected arrival date to another week, now postponed to May 19th.... Unfortunately  I preorder this product and now sitting here waiting... I know that is not Mr modchips fault, but it is really a long time ago that the product was informed to be ready end of March / beginning of April!!!   grr.gif

i ordered my nand x from mrmodchips over a month ago and very fast to take my money,i was annoyed with the constant changing of expected stock date, finally they got them in on tuesday 25th but since then i've had 48rs of awaiting packing which isn't good enough

edit,as of writing its now changed to ready for dispatch! hopefully it goes today but not expecting a saturday delivery would be very shocked
