Well, fooey!!!! The scene would become so much more alive and active like a buzzing beehive if a way was discovered to allow jtaging and NAND flashing to ANY 360 console. That would be so SIC !!!!!

You can flash the NAND on ANY console , not all of them will run XBR. But all motherboards are supported. Quit bitchin about this guys unless you are the one who comes up with the SMC code and works for hours on actually making the mods possible don't bitch it is that simple. Be patient , and they probably will find a new exploit , and rest assured they will let everyone on the scene know when they do.

We can't all be coders, but if thats all it took one were "hours", Then it should be done already.

lets put it this way. those who found/put together the smc hack are smart enough to be rocket scientists.

Although this looks "cool" It's more fun learning to solder and doing it the hard way, I've never soldered before, sure it's took me a few times to get it right but it's good fun learning, however I'm having a Could Not Detect Flash Controller, so it's either my soldering which I will check again soon, or my USB Nand Reader, he's sending me a replacement in case it is the Nand reader, sure it takes more time, but it's more rewarding when you solder everything your self and then it works, and it's a bit cheaper to at £20, at the end of the day you will still use Nandpro2b..

This is what I'm using http://www.kipper2k.com/usbflash.html

The first page where people said that Team-Xecuter disappeared, they just left the scene for a while, after a bunch of modders were raided by police and got huge fines for it!

And whoever says that they suck, obviously bought something from them, and didn't know what the hell to do with it, so they blame the company, not themself for ****ing it up.

I was gonna get the Maximus one, but that $29.99 promo caught my eye, so may be getting this one instead.  I'm sick of flashing through LPT.  30min read on a 16MB NAND...

What exactly are you trying to say?  It does take hours not "hours" , it also takes days and months , hours all add up too that. No we can't all be coders , so you should be appreciative that they share with the community what they work on in their free time , and for free. How much homebrew have you had to pay for?

Anyways , i am definitely thinking about getting some sort of USb flashing solution , i have always liked team-xecuter stuff , the lpt wiring and time it takes is getting annoying. Are they actually keeping this as the official name though it is kind of dumb , just my opinion , i could actually care less about the name more about how well it funtions.

Ditto, doing it through LPT is just annoying because it takes a lot of time.  I mean I've only done the 16MB NAND and it took about 30-40 min to read.  Whereas a USB Flashing tool would do that same process in a couple minutes.

Now when they say it comes with the nand kit, and jtag kit, is the nand kit the actual device, and the jtag kit just really diodes for jtaging?

My question is, is this isn't like a one time use device?  Like you can use it to flash multiple 360's?

It is a one time use device for a single console , because once it is flashed you will be able to update  with a thumbdrive when their is an update to xbr but if you plan on doing multiple machines like i do , then you want something like this , my custom LPT cable is getting beat up from attaching and reattaching it to the motherboards.

I don't really buy stuff from all these different manufacturers (tight budget) but this does look alot better then most of the junk Xecuter has been pumping out over the years. As for "Team Xecuter not being around" who the hell do you think sponsors xbins? dumbasses.

NO! Only for those with the pre summer dashboard can use homebrew no matter what device or chip that is used.

there’s word that downgrading with blown efuses is possible and there is all so word that there using a new method rather than the exploit that’s being used now... rumors are not for the faint of heart so well have to see. If true it’s the best news I have heard on any scean in a long time.

This is just a device to allow you to read/write your nand. The exploit still hasn't changed, and you will still need to install the jtag hack (diodes + wires) afterwards.

I think you are confused.
