Hi,
Is there a way to clone a 120gb drive to a 60gb drive (like in downsizing)? There's only about 25gb of data so it should fit fine.
I tried both xplorer360 and xport 360. I notice when i backup with either the image on my PC is actually 120gb even though there's only 25gb of actual data on my drive so it's like a block-by-block replication of the drive.
When I start to restore the drive with xplorer360, it warns me that the target is not big enough...Feeling reckless, I clicked OK but it said "complete" instantly when in fact it'd done nothing...
When i start to restore the drive with xport360, it gives me multiple scary messages that I'm about to do something bad by restoring this image to this (60gb) HDD that did not come from that same drive, so i chickened out and did not do it....
I'm now extracting partition by partition with xplorer360 to see if i can manually add partition by partition to my 60gb drive...
But does anyone know a way I can do this? I know I'm swimming upstream and going to a smaller drive and all instrux i can find are of course going to larger drives...
Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
