all i have laying around is a few old xenon gpu heatsinks i could cut down would that work? i have tried to push down on it a lil bit to see if it will boot but it gets way to hot to keep my finger on after about 30 secounds

try using like a piece of cloth or something wrapped around your finger and apply pressure to the chip again

i tried again with a small piece of cardboard and still no go. i tried to heatgun it again today for like the 4th time but this time i added a lil flux on top of the ram chip hoping for it to work but still get rrod. sad.gif  mad.gif  im hoping to get this box working again because as i said so far i have had 98% of the 360s i have repaired have been working no problem but for sum reason this 1 just wont work again.
